The Good: Runs good, a/c blows cold, new power antenna, awd works well, has has timing belt and headgaskets done (headgaskets leaking are common issue on these motors). I get about 24 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway. New rear brake pads, new left and right tie rods. Fresh oil change.

The Bad: Dent in rear bumper/liftgate, will likely need a clutch within the next 10k miles.

Would make a great EJ20 or STi swap candidate!




Damage to the rear - it needs a rear bumper cover (not sure about the absorber or impact bar, but reasonably sure they're okay) and the dent removed from the liftgate, and repaint.

Couple of pictures from today - not much changed, still a stock Legacy GT :smile: I am putting a cone filter on it for giggles. Will include stock airbox. I did take another picture of the rear bumper damage. Car now has 123k miles on it, and that will continue to go up as it's my DD.
