Are you referring to paint on top of the valve spring? IIRC, Supertech's arent colored at all.

Supertech doesnt specify one for INT , one for EXH. They all come packaged together. I dont think you have Supertech springs, or it is a part # which I am not familiar with.

Let me know what they say, as I and many others have never seen a paint coded Supertech valve spring. Well in the last 5 yrs atleast.

i couldnt find any info from supertech on colors but they cant be stock they have titanium retainers and they are dual valve springs on all of them and the stock gsr springs are just dual on the intake side...and type r springs are yellow arnt they?

i bought them from someone who said they were supertech he had the part number for them too they could have had the spec because he did it??

i put them in the motor with some blox b's

are theyre any aftermarket dual valve springs and retainers that had a color spec on them? its just a very small bit of color

I have an extra set of Crower TI retainers I will sell you with some springs, I guess they would be Crower springs, as i have titanium retaners. I am not sure you really understand that alot of people, including Supertech say they do not paint there springs. BUT the friend that screwed you is correct.

i didnt say they had to be supertech i was saying that they have to be aftermarket and not stock because they are dual valve springs on both intake and exhaust and gsr engines dont have that but i have no idea what they are because they have no markings on them except the very very tiny paint mark

should i be worried that they wont be good enough for blox b's?

the coils get smaller on one end of the spring which is supposed to be the bottom of the spring

do you know that the ITR's have dual springs? also its not that hard to put new retainers on stock springs. you can easily amke stock gsr have dual springs, put another set of inners in.

i recall my stock b16 springs having brownish colors, hell and my ITR's are a brownish yellow.

will it be fine for blox b's? just having them being dual with titanium retainers?

i already have everything installed

should i pull one out and check the spring rate at a machine shop to figure out if its good enough for the blox b's??

and one more question the springs do aftermarket springs have it where part of the spring binds closer together or is that only oem because thats what these do
