Hello people my name is Naz and I have a 93 gsr that i bought a while back as a theft recovery vehicle. I now have to pass a CHP inspection and the only thing holding me back is that i bought a new ecu for it and they want a vin number off of the donor car, the guy i bought it from has unfortunately passed away so I'm stuck. Can any one give me a vin number off of a 92-93 gsr that doesn't have a theft history?

 

so no one has a gsr vin that i could use?

just use your VIN and change a couple of numbers at the end

 

tell em' you bought a new ecu from the junk.

 

that is what i told them and they said we don't care we need the vin of the car it came out of. I would just change a few numbers of my vin but knowing my luck it would probably end up being a vin of a car thats reported stolen and they will take my ecu.
