need to replace clutch? is it difficult? dealer or independent shop?
i've got a 94 GSR 170,000 miles. i haven't changed my clutch in a long time and i believe it's starting to slip.
is it difficult to replace? how long does it take?
would you recommend bringing the car to the dealer or an independent shop?

Team-integra.net has a great writeup that you can follow. It's not very hard but you will want to invest in another jack of some sorts to get that thing back up in there. I can bench 285lbs but it was still hard for me to hold the tranny up long enough to get it into position.
a tranny jack would have made my life 100% easier. Now that I have one it's too-easy.

Not super difficult to do, it helps a ton if you've got a buddy (and a case of beer
) to help you get that pig in and out. Just make sure you have the proper tools.

I think a clutch job is one of the most misrepresented Honda projects in regards to project difficultly. It's really not hard, just a little time consuming if you've never done it before.
hatchling37 has one of the best pieces of advice for dealing with a clutch job. Get a friend or two and a case of beer and make an afternoon of it.

Call it a day. Especially if you haven't been under there in a while or you don't have air tools. Call it 2 if you don't have either.
The best thing you can do is to replace your oil seal on your crank too while youre in there.
