I totaled my car this morning on my way to work. Was going about 30mph around a broad curve, hit a slick spot on the road (was pouring rain) and slid sideways for about 200ft. Hit a pretty big fence pole and mangled up my passenger side front fender. Looks like there is unibody damage, so the car is likely totaled. Also managed to [freak] up one of the 5Zigen rims. Put a hairline crack all the way through one of the spokes, and took out a piece of aluminum about the size of a quarter on one of the other spokes.

Looks like this is goodbye, guys.

are you familiar with Mountain Road? this happened right across from the Front Royal State Fish Hatchery.

after looking at the car at the lot (where it was towed) everyone there seems to agree that its fixable. so i may, however, i may not. i may just part it out, unfortunately. only time will tell. hopefully, i get a decent amount of money out of this whole deal.

totaled or not, i'm keeping the car. its future, however, is undetermined at this time.

Ouch bro. Yep, I'd say the unibody is probably messed up. I've seen miracles performed by repair shops tho. There's hope, but it'll be $$$. No matter how much I love my own DA, I wouldn't bring it back after something like that. Sorry mang. BUT! She kept you safe. That's the main thing.

i think i'm going to get my hands dirty, cut up, and shed some more blood, sweat, and tears on this thing before i give it up. if the unibody is damaged beyond conventional repair, then i'll get it as good as i can and make it a dedicated race-car. i'm of the belief that i cant give up yet.
