My mom is having car problems and I was seeing if anybody would be able to help out.

My mom has a 1991 Integra DA when it is running down the highway it dies. When it is hot outside it won't start. It eventually starts but it may take several hours before it starts. She can spray starting fluid into the breather and it will start but it doesn't always keep running. She has changed out the spark plugs, rotor, distributer cap, coil, ICM, tested the fuel pump and it's okay, relay mod is fine, and changed out the fuel filter.

just check the cables inside distributor connecting to the igniter they might be corroded so best bet is to buy a new distributor.. and check plugs also...

 

Replace the Fuel Pump Relay. Its Broen in color and under the dash. Drivers side.

After taking out the fuel pump and testing it she found that she is not getting power to the fuel pump.

 

Replace the Fuel Pump Relay... Tons of old Ef's/DA's have that problem. Mine did. Put the new relay in and its been fine.
