injectors not firing but have power and signal?
I am working on swapping a D16A6 into my sandrail, I am running OBD1 harness (JDM D15 VTEC) a PO8 ecu (virgin), obd1 dizzy, obd2 injectors (shaved injector clips). I have fuel pressure, I have spark, I have signal to the injectors, everything seems to be okay...but injectors will not "fire", I have pulled them and manually tested them and they do work "click" pentile does move in and out etc.
I am not running the relay (I have heard it is not neccessary?) I have the ground hooked up on the therm-housing....stumped.....help....

I have noided them, and they do "strobe" with the signal from the ecu. They all check out between 12-13 ohms. I pulled them from the rail and touched the posts to power and the pentile moves in and out and clicks on all 4. Is there a better way to check them? I will try a different set of injectors asap, I have been out of the Honda game for a bit so I don't have spares sitting around like I used to. :-(
did I post this in the worng section, or is it just stumping everyone else too? I have decided it must be a bad ecu? I'll try that. I have heard maybe I should try using a obd2 harness, then converting it to obd1, because of the obd2 easier engine harness??? advice anyone? I am not a wiring guy at all, just a machinist/fabbin' son of a bitch :-)
What do you mean, "I am not running the relay"?
If you mean the PGM-FI Main Relay, how are you getting power to the fuel pump, [fuel pump relay] and the injectors, ECU and the engine sensors, [powered by the injector relay]?94
