Looks like JG.

Have you had this head a while? You've had that avatar for a bit, and it looks identical to the head pictured.

If im reading it correctly, there was a valve job performed after these pics were taken. And I also understand completely why close ups are not provided of this.

Once again there is nothing but port work in these pictures.. no cutting, no valve work, nothing but the porting..

everything else was done after these pics were taken. And no i don't have any pics of anything after this. and i prob wouldnt post them if i did have them.

Hey h22crxpwr, I was wondering what intake manifold you are running? I was looking into getting a Skunk 2intake manifold and it says it wont work on a crx with a swapped in h22...do you know anyone running a h22 with a skunk 2 intake manifold?

it won't fit in the crx as its really far back. i used the Golden Eagle Sheet metal intake manifold with a Kens Kustom brake master cylinder (its smaller and doesnt have the booster) it fit great with that combo. but it won't all fit unless you do an H2B. our H2B crx has the skunk manifold and we havnt had any problems.

I'm wondering more about the Kens master cylinder. How does the booster-less master cylinder feel & respond? I was thinking about making a bracket to get rid of my booster.

its a little bit stiffer. but stops fine and not really too bad. i'd prob daily it. it stops really great. ran it at the track and it stopped fine. not like i had to stomp the pedal either. stopped like normal brakes.

That's what I figured.

I remember driving a buddies 90 Civic and it had manual steering & brakes. I asked because the MC that Kens Kustoms uses looks very similar to the 89-91 Civic M/MC. I'm definitely going to look into it if that is what it's like.

Cheers
