tell what you think of this head if anything will be holding me back.
So i plan on building the head in my b16a2, i want a nice midrange and everyone is saying going with the buddy club 3's,
Now this is going to be the setup let me know if anything is going to to be holding the motor back,
-Aem Short ram intake,
-micro V under drive pulleys for alt, and power stearing,
- gmg tri Y header,
-2.25in obx exhuast pipeing with 2.25 inlet magnaflow muffler,
-buddy club spec 3 cams ,
- aem cam gears,
- stock valves if that possible,? someone let me know!
- retainers and springs, skunk2 or buddy club something cheap,
-neptune or crome to tune.
give me a heads up if this wont work, i have no experience in building heads so this is going to be my first build. not looking for numbers but just a good DD street car with a nice fat midrange. will be in my ej8

Your mod list seems pretty good to me. I listed below some things I might consider changing to optimize your set-up.
On a b16 the tri Y header will have a very peaky powerband and actually lose at every rpm against a jdm itr header. A header I would be very interested in would be be the spoolinperformance.com toda replica as the Toda is the best header for a b16 that I have seen.
Im not sure the diameter of your short ram but I would opt for a 3" intake tuned for length on the dyno. This is not very expensive and I have seen very good improvements throughout the powerband compared to a traditional SRI. Also a BPi flowstack would not be a bad idea as well as it is an inexpensive way to pick up a few hp. I would also consider sending a tb to max-bore for boring..... its around $100 and I have seen b16's make a decent increase with this mod, however your stock b16 manifold is fine.
Exhaust I would go for a mandrel 2.5" with muffler of your choice from kteller or similar.
Stock valves are fine as long as they are in good condition. As far as valvetrain I would look into Supertech..... Awesome price and product.
