guys,
The stock HId in the Japanese HID headlamp on DC2 integra, is a d2s 4300K bulb,did any one change it to a higher kelvin like this Philips model 6000K or 5000K.
First of all>is this item the one to be used in ITR jdm headlights with oem hid?
Is it easy to change on the ITR headlamp?
Anyone has installation pics or any info.
I want to buy these, If info is received, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...34001
let me know,
Rishi

What are you trying to achieve ? Color or intensity and brightness ?
If you want intensity and brightnes get some 85122+ phillips D2S bulbs, they run about 120 bucks for new.
They do not color shift and degrade as quickly as the regular hid bulbs. These will stay bright for a very very long time. Stock 85122 bulbs degrade very quickly and go blue very quickly

what he said4300k will give you the best light output, anything higher you start to loose light output the higher you go, and it changes the color the higher you go
best for brightness: 4300k
85122 will tend to color shift like stated before.
85122+ will tend to remain the same, with no color shift.
Both of those will give you the best light output...as for the 6000k ultinon, they are great bulbs as well, give off a little more blue, especially behind that jdm itr projector.
For the price difference, and performance i would stick with 4300k 85122+
