I have an 90 Si hatchback and i added the front and rear fogs and a hid headlight set and when car is on and i turn on all the lights the car idle drops real low? I have a stock alternator (original that came with car) and an autozone standard battery? Would replacing the alternator/upgrading it make a difference or even a stronger battery? Are there any upgrades for the stock alt.?
Any advise would help. Thanks!

bump because i have the same issue and would also like an answer.

btw, i did get a new battery (since my old one died) and it didn't change the low idle issue when the lights are on (though it did smooth out the idle overall).

 

Try the alternator!
