endyn breather on a crvtec
i have an endyn breather kit on my b20vtec and at high rpms it sprays a bit of oil out of the filter. I have checked the lines and it is draining properly and there is no oil stored in the can. has anyone else experienced this? is it normal? or what does it mean?
Yes, its pretty normal. I ditched the rear vent/drains in favor of valve cover/manual drain and I haven't had an issue since. I had issues with that kit for a long time and tried many variations until I finally decided to remove the tubes that lead to the back of the block. Hope this helps.
do you think if i went to the pcv valve would the valve prevent the oil from going into the intake manifold or would it still blow by?
endyn breather kit is a bit over kill isn't it?? i mean...there's probably something cheaper out there that can do the same job for less $$$
it is mounted as high as it can be without the filter hitting the hood. all hoses flow downward and the tank is never full. i got a good deal on the kit when i was putting my engine together and i already have it so what is the point of your post?

i dont experience this, no..

the pcv valve is made to allow the engine to breath as much as it can while minimizing the amount of oil going into the intake manifold....If all your hoses look ok, and are not kinked at all and are setup correctly..Try the pcv valve out see what happens.

The point of the breather kit is to lower crankcase pressures. The PCV on hondas is way too small for high power/rpm use. This is why you install a breather kit. Hooking it up to the stock PCV system would negate the breather kit completely. You'd better off just hooking up the stock PCV system so atleast you wouldnt look like a tool.

my b20 doesnt have a factory breather box. and it never blew oil out any of the other builds i have had it on but it does on this one. i am not sure why though because copmression test is 250 all the way across and the can is always empty ionly notice it if i was at high r's

Where in my statement does it say hook up the pcv valve to a stock pcv valve or stock pcv system?
i was refering to installing the pcv valve that already comes with the endyn kit.. it mounts atop the cannister in place of the filter..
get your facts straight, dont be a "tool"
