anybody know where the vin # of a k20z3 is located at.... and is it 17 digits??

 

all cars since the 70's use a 17 number....and if u dnt know where the vin is at im not telling u....

 

lol... i know were the vin# in the car is located at but im asking bout the engine

 

VIN is the Vehicle Idenitification Number.

 

trying to erase it or modify?

 

look on the back side above the oil drain bolt.

I think its located on the back side.

 

it can be either stampped into the engine block aove the oil pan rail or on a vin plate tag that is r4ivetted to the block above the pan rail. if the engine was bought from a salvage yard or used parts dealer the tag may have been removed.
