Default good axle or bad axle

my axles are starting to click rediculously due to not having any grease in them in a result of not clamping the CV boot down.
the boot doesnt have any tears so its still good.

can i simply repack grease in them and call them good until i can get money to replace them with new ones?

or would i have to replace them asap?

Once they start making noise, they are done. They've already chewed themselves up. You'll need to replace them.
