Default Radiator core Support pricing???

Had an accident the other day, and I need to replace my radiator support on a 98 Civic. My question is, how much does a typical body shop usually charge to replace one??? I am going through my insurance, and I am really hoping that it is not going to cost too much that they will total out my car I will be replacing the radiator and doing the body work to my bumper myself, but I gotta have somebody do the support because I dont know anything about welding. Any cost estimates you can give me would be great. thanks for reading!

rad support is about 300-350.
labor time to put it in is about 12 hours (multiple that by what ever the shops labor costs are).
than you have to paint it which is about 1.2 hours.
plus materials.
plus tax.

not cheap.

i just checked my estimating system here at work for those hours. some shops have different labor times tho.

hope that helps a little.

go to a junk yard, find the car and drill it off the chasis, simple as that and wont cost u more then 80 bucks, at least not in l.a. just have it welded back into place. Or, get an aftermarket one ask around and see who has bought an aftermartket one and the fitmat is good, if not it's always better to buy the oem factory support, 300 bucks..pain in the ***..i need one for my EJ1 imma just go to the junk yard. Not all the cars have been hit in the front.

Looking around, I found that http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com has them for $168 Now if my insurance company would hurry their asses up I can get it fixed. BTW, does anybody know the distance between the two places on the frame where it welds up? Not by the headlight, but where it welds up to the part that the re-enforcment bar bolts to. I need to make sure it didnt get bent out of spec....
