I have an 93 civic sedan and was wondering why my trunk doesnt pop open when i pull the trunk release... just wondering what it might be.... i have to keep pulling it until it stays released then i have to pull it open

 

Is there a spoiler on your car? My car does the same thing. The guy that owned the car before me put a honda spoiler on the car but when you put a spoiler on you are supposed to replace the spring in the trunk. If the spring hasn't been replaced it won't open, or it will barely open when you pull the trunk release.

 

i have the opposite problem with mine, i took my spolier off and now when i pop my trunk it flies open
