Default Living in Japan: Pics of Mugen RR and a couple of performance shops

**Uploaded pics to new server**

So I'm stationed here in Misawa Japan...about 4 hours north of Tokyo by train...and my wife and I decided to go to Hachinohe...nice little city...Misawa is a small town.

I took the road just next to my house here in Misawa on the way to the toll road for the first time and saw the Honda dealership with this sit outside. Pics don't do anything for it...in person...oh my...I can't even begin to explain...uhhhhh, it's sooooooo damn nice

Mugen:

Oh and here's my car...I didn't find a Honda I wanted on base for sell, so I settled for this car for only 1100 bucks...a Toyota Celica that's Turbod and AWD. I never knew toyota made a celica like that...it'll be good for the snowy days

Here's some pics of the shops

The First shop was called Super Autobacs, it had tons of parts and sold everything new...check out the prices and tell me what you think...Conversion at that day was 107 yen to the dollar.

The second shop was called UpGarage and had used parts...used turbos, body kits, etc...I found some enkeis I liked...they are 16" PCD is 500 which would work with my celica...only about 250 bucks

Just less than a grand for these with tires

799 for these

And 799 for these also

ah, didn't know they made them in the states. It's not too bad of a car, but up top it just doesn't seem to pull much...most of the power is in the mid range.

That makes me jealous! I want to shop around tuner shops in Japan. Just out of curiosity, though, do those shops still have parts for older Hondas in stock? Like any 92-96 Prelude parts for example?

theft rate is almost nil.

its ingrained in japanese culture to respect your own and others belongings.

too bad it isnt the same here.

to the OP, nice little tour you gave us, and yes, the alltrac u have is a rare beast. 1100 bucks is pretty much stealing it from the guy haha.

nice parking,i bet its to keep would-be door dingers away. oh wait, its japan, people respect each other's property.

The red Beat next to the RR has Mugen aero on it... You should try to get pics of that!
