speedo cable too short in jspec gsr swap to DA

just had a 96 jspec GSR swapped into a 90 DA with hasport mounts and now i can't get my speedo cable to fit in its about 1 inch too short... any idea.????

it should fit, but if your using a jdm speedo cable it might be shorter. if thats the case get a usdm one.
