Dizzy Help
Ok heres the deal, I'm picking up a 94 del sol S this saturday. Car has a d16y8 in it. The previous owner used a y8 dizzy and somehow wired the plugs into a obd1 harness. Ran fine for a few days then the dizzy fried. Do I absolutely have to run a y8 dizzy or will a z6 one fit. Also if I have to use the y8 dizzy do I need to wire obd2 plugs into my obd1 harness or vise versa....
I suck at wiring so help is needed. Thanks in advance

You should be able to use either a D16Z6 or D15B7 distributor, whichever one physically bolts up to the head will be fine, theres no difference internally, just the mounting flange is very slightly different and the bolt holes for one wont line up. Or you can get either and just swap the guts into the Y8 distributor case you have now.
