He probably wants it so he can say"I have CTR lip" in instead of saying "I have an SI lip!"

my GF's brother has an Si lip on his 00 hatchback. he ordered a JDM CTR rear lip for his car, but the shop sent him a JDM CTR FRONT LIP.
my GF's brother said that there was infact a difference between his Si and the JDM CTR lip. he said the CTR lip hung a bit lower.
disclaimer: i'm just saying what he said.. i can not confirm that they are infact different.

well HE had BOTH lips to compare, everyone else is just hear-say.

That sounds true because when I see them on the CTR's they look bigger. I don't know if it's because of the white that throws it off or what!

I actually have a complete front bumper off a CTR. I also have an Si lip. They are exactly the same, absolutely no difference whatsoever. That is all.

Basically, I may have worded it wrong. A CTR lip for a coupe, not a hb or 4dr cuz I think the front bumpers may be different. I'm new to the JDM stuff so I'm still getting used to what years and models have interchangable parts so I hope you will forgive my dumbness advancexgsr!

oem lip.
except the oem rear lip for the coupe is different from the oem rear lip for the hatch. the hatch rear lip is what's commonly known as ctr rear lip. the front are the same
