Default Skunk2 coilover, shocks?

I have a 98 EK4 4 Door and I'm planning to get a set of Skunk2 coilovers. I'm wondering, what kind of shocks should I get? Also anyone here that have a set of Skunk2s and would like to give me a review on how they ride, performance and comfort wise?

they are quite bouncy - on stock shocks atleast.

I have been riding with them on stock shocks for about 8 months to a year. They are really bouncy, but I have gotten used to it. I still dislike it though...

I purchased Tokico Illuminas 2 weeks ago and I will be installing them tomorrow afternoon. I can give you an update if you would like.

Illuminas would most likely be your best bet because they do not fit Koni Yellow's unless you buy a relatively expensive conversion piece...

Good quality shocks though...

I had the Skunk2 Coils and sports shocks in my ej2. I liked it, pretty nice, stiff. it did bounce a little (Certain areas on the streets), but not much to bug me. i liked them...took them off cause i am going put them on my new project (EK)

I got the pro street full coilovers in my eg and they are stiff, very stiff, like he said they do bounce on some parts or the road, but IMO i like them, they hug the road very nicely, good coilove for the price i think

I've owned the Skunk 2s and the Ground Control coilovers...I like the GCs 100 times more, not as rough as the skunk 2s. Ran them over Tokico blues on both setups.

Just like Lil_wyte said, they hug the road pretty damn good.
