Quick update: All parts are starting to trickle in...

38mm Tial MVS v band 7.2 psi spring
New T3/T04e Precision unit with some secret internals haha big wheel to carry top end even tho still a 50 trim, it's more like a 57-60 with larger wheel. A buddy who rebuilds turbos gave me a custom one.
All manifold parts to make a mini ram (going to sale the log)
Downpipe and Dumptube material,
Intercooler 28x6.5x2.75" overall
Intercooler couplers n T bolt clamps

I will throw up some pictures as I go, next 2-3 weeks should be done making everything.

Fire her up next day or so for last time NA, do compression check and take her apart.

Yes internal WG is going bye bye

Change of plans, did the comrpession test and leak down last week, came out lil low, sore rings. Took it apart. Everything else checked out.

Took a deep breath and bit the big one and decided to rebuild for big boost.

Update from the other thread:

A couple more pictures to do the car some justice...

She made peak power of 411 hp and 340 trq at 15 psi... 4k rpm 275 ft lb torque. at SpeedFactory in Tacoma, WA www.SpeedFactoryRacing.net James is a great tuner! thanks again!

Never turbo'd before took her down the street for lil drive... half throttle brought a smile to my face hankookies are just not going to cut it! haha

Next plan is to get her broken in change the fan to a better flowing one... and put the slicks on a take her down the track.

7.2 psi 330 hp 275 trq run and 15 psi run 411 hp 340 trq... engines breathing pretty good and probably begs a bigger turbo. But am happy for now.

Small un exciting update... Recently purchased a used SC6176e

I am made a smart choice... almost decided to run the SC61 as is, seemed to spin freely and have very little to none shaft play, no leaks... but something was telling me to send it out... I had sent the Precision SC6176e to Precision to get a basic rebuild. Turned out little more then basic... bearing material was found inside and I deceided to add a new comp housing because old one was cut off little short from a welded on intake pipe. So quite a few 100's later I am getting it back should be here tom.

I am also putting on my Thermal R&D exhaust 3". Just need a new downpipe made and possibly a new longer turbo oil supply line, slap on my turbo blanket and downpipe wrap and back in business. Will update with dyno numbers in the next few weeks. -John

Wow that's a nice CRX. A boosted H23 Vtec is some gangsta shiz. My boy back in the day had a boosted EG Hatch with a H22 in it and was the fastest Honda at the time. He ran like 11's in the 1/4 in 1995. His name might ring a bell, Viet Lam. This thread reminded me of him.

Thought id update this thread!

I had my buddy James at SpeedFactoryRacing.net in Tacoma, WA tune it again. He is a great tuner.

James 10.4 1/4 mile old vitara turbo D record car

Comparison:
Old setup: 411hp 341 ft lbs torque at 15 psi 50 trim and smaller intercooler
New setup: 467hp 373 ft lbs torque at 15 psi SC6176e Precision Turbo and Precision 600hp Intercooler

394hp 280 ft lbs torque at 8-9 psi

Car also has a switch as well flip the switch 1st gear 8-9 psi 2nd gear 13 psi 3rd gear 15 psi 4th gear 15 psi
leave swith off runs on 8-9 psi all time... Ectune

I couldn't boost any higher because of the limits that I was reaching on torque on the dynapack
