Well I need new tires on my 15" EX wheels on 95 accord, I was wondering if anyone has gone about changing the tire size to like a 195-55-15 or like a 195-50-15 instead of regular 195-60-15, or any other tires wider or whatever. Has anyone done it, any pictures will be great. Thanks

 

i have 225/ 50/ 15 drag radials on my ex wheels. fit fine, they overhang the lip quite a bit though.

dam i just got new tires with 205 width,
i wish i went with 215. got that buyers remorse.
does the 225 get that much more traction for
straight aways, and wat about handling?

 

I've run the same set of Toyo 205/60x15 Spectrum's for the last 4 years and 84k miles.

Whatever tire / rim combo you select, be aware of a potential clearance problem (not in the front) in the rear. The rear knuckle assembly has a verticle arm which links to the upper control arm. On the standard SE alloy rim and the 205', this arm passes less than .5" behind the rear tire sidewall.
