Default b16a2 ek swap need help please

hey guys am a newbie with lots of questions my friend has a b16a2 on his 98 ek its was driving fine and rolling good until just today,,,, his car just died on the freeway, but after a while was able to make it to a fred meyer,,,,, we checked all i could think of ,ecu,dizzy we even swapeed ecu and dizzy between cars and mine had no problem,, what i see though is when his car dies there is clicking sound in the ecu,,, it goes click click click then dies ,, i am very lost dont know what it might be if any one can help it be great,, i really wanna help the guy out,,,,,

oh it seem like after a while it just work fine again but then does the same

oohh and there is that sound when the key is placed on (on) from the pump?

swap main relays, prob not the problem but its worth a shot.

thanks for replying,,,, i did swap them and there was no problem in m car ,, i found out that was what was clicking,,,,, i am gonna head out buy a new fuel pump and see what it does,,,,, Thank you

man a ground wire and a 10mm bolt were kicking my ***,,,, got it squared away,, it was bad ground cable and bolt
