I have never had my clutch to that point but you will feel a noticeable loss in power especially if you are trying to up hill and the car is some what full. Like it will have trouble accelerating. That is what I have heard from people.

nah, that just means you're low on power
Anyways, go on the freeway and just stomp on it in 5th gear. If the rpm's rise and the speed doesn't go up fast enough for that increase in revs, the speed stays constant, or the speed drops, the clutch is slipping.

haha, oh damn! yeah, I just moved up to Colorado ... I should update that
Yeah, if the rpms rise faster than the speed, it's slipping. When it starts doing it in 5th, then I would really consider getting a new clutch.

you can try all of the above, or simply put it in first, load up a couple thousand rpms and drop the clutch. if it grabs very well and spins your tires youre good, of course considering what clutch you have.

I would not use 5th. If your clutch is slipping in 5th, then it is non existent.
Use 3rd. Slowly get your rpms up to about 4k. Then stomp on it. If your rmps go up without your speed increasing, then your clutch is on it's way out.
You can also tell from the smell.
