91 Hybrid..need Htech members help here.
OK...
Engine: H22a1
Year: 1995
Trans: 5 spd
Car Year - 91 Accord
NOw here is my problem.
The car will not idle right, surges back and forth. From 100-1300 up and down, then stop. I think it is a vaccum leak, but I dont want to plug away. I snapped picture of my engine, and I saw a couple lose connections.
I am hoping you guys can help me out. I just replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Checked timing, reset ECU. It does hesitate when slowing pressing in gas.
HELP!!!
Thanks
Rob

The why is this not conected? I belive that was where part of the original intake goes.
Heya Rob,
That unconnected whatchamajig might be the cause of your idle woes....here is where it goes to
The vacuum line just goes from the whatchamajig to a nipple on the intake.....btw, how is that swap? We're doing one really soon, exact same swap you just did, just wondering if you hit any major gotchas? I made a post a while ago, but you can just respond here if you have any pointers
Thanks,
Brian
