Default Bought new 92 DX Hatch with Z6, Jackson Racing S/C and wiring nightmare!!!

So basically car was sold to me for a 1000 hacked up harness with DX chassis Z6 motor compression 130 across the boards. Came with a half installed completely incorrect by the way Jackson Racing Supercharger with FMU and 10 lb pulley.

Also has a DH Racing 69mm TB which has a hole on the top left side above the TPS sensor which is sucking alot of air. There are no threads is this a vacuum or what?

Firing order was wrong, tps and map backwards, eavc and iat and purge valve etc where all backwards.

I pulled the JRSC manual which says it needs a relay???? Is this true??

Comments like these make Honda-Tech look like a buch of nerds who always talk **** and flame. Oh well thanks for your technical support.

Well the car finally has the CEL removed. All sensors are good.

Coolant troubles also fixed.

Car starts and idles just a little high due to throttle body which will be adjusted tommorow. We placed a fitting on the throttle body for now and capped it.

Last thing is the charger is not making anyboost what so ever.

Wonder if the FMU is not working or hoses are done incorrectly. Any insight would be wonderful. This is for all of you S/C gurus for this is my first one.

from what i've heard from buddy's with jrsc, the relay is only needed if your running a stock ecu. it's not needed if you hace s chipped ecu.

Well it turns out the relay is not needed to make boost, we switched vacuum finally around and the car is making boost and we retarded timing 10 degrees like manual says. Car is running good now!

if you are using a chipped ecu, you do not need the relay.

If you are not using a chipped ecu or some sort of aftermarket fuel management, DO NOT BOOST!!!

What the relay does is reads manifold pressure from a pressure switch and basically lies to the ecu and tells it to dump extra fuel into the fuel rail. without it you will be boosting in an extremely lean condition and will damage your motor.
