So I installed a new AEM hi flow fuel rail and am not ready to use fuel pressure guage port so i plugged it with the plug and crush washer that was supplied with the kit but for some reason it has a slow leak . I know I can't use teflon on the fuel system, but is there anything else that I can use to seal the threads?

So the fuel pressure port is leaking or the end cap is leaking? Pressure port just uses a pipe plug to block the hole. The end cap uses the crush washer. If it's the end cap, have a friend stronger than you install it. DON'T tighten it on the car. Put it in a vice, protecting it with a towel so it doesn't get marred, and loosen then re-tighten the plug. It's hard to get the plug in and make the washer actually crush and seal if you are just holding it in your hand. Other option, if you want to leave it on the car, is to use a large crescent wrench with a towel/cloth to hold the rail and tighten the cap/plug with a wrench.

 

teflon tape. does wonders.

 

I ended up using some high temp. thread sealent I bought at the local Auto part store and let it sit overnight. tried it the next morning and it worked fine. thanxs anyways...
