Default tie rod problem

i had 95 integra front spindals on my crx and they fit fine.. swaped them to my 94 del sol and the tie rods dont seem to be long enough at least not for peace of mind. any one have any ideas. i work at NAPA autoparts and looked up the ones for eg. ek and dc cars and they are all the same part number for inner and outer tierods. Im guessing that the difference is the steering racks being different length. the only ones i havent checked on is for Ef cars. A friend told me he founds some longer tierods on line dont remember the site. any one ever heard of longer ones made for swaps like that?

i thought that the EG and the DC had same suspension..

but then again you are doing it on a Del Sol... is the Del Sol part number the same as the EG and DC one?

used the integra spindals for the large brakes. where the tierod conects onto the spindal it is further away from the tierod i adjusted them to where they are closer to alignment but i think 1 full rotation would disconect the inner tirod from the outer... thats why i need longer ones... accord outer tierods are about 1 inch longer but that might be to long....

part numbers are the same for iner and outer for eg-ek and da.

i think your problem might not be the end links but the rod it self. you might need to compare the rods with each other not the end links.

end links are also the same. i found in some forums that integra and civic spindals have differnt length mounting points for the tierods the little arm that the tierod goes into on the back side of the spindal. the del sol is longer for a better turning radius then the integra due to wheel base and other issues. the only option i could do is change the steering rack to an integra but thats a little costly and time consuming. so im going to use the accord tierod ends that are almost an inch longer and if they are to long then ill cut the inner tierods to compensate for the extra distance.
if any one else has ideas or sujestions let me know.. havent decided for sure yet what to do for sure.
