Default exhaust help RASPelstiltskin

Hey I had a quick question about a little raspy rasp my exhaust is making. I just swapped a b18 into my Ek and the exhaust I had a buddy custom make......it consists of a dc sport header, high flow cat, and 2.5 back to a straight through magnaflow muffler. The question I have is will a apexi ws muffler alone fix that rasp, or is there a better muffler for fixing rasps? I know a resonator would help but I don’t think I’m going to F with the piping. any help would be great. thanks

I think a WS 2 would take care of it. Or really any non straight through muffler or a bigger one that absorbs more noise.

from experience, Greddy mufflers(even the whole cat back) is not raspy at all actually quiet until you hit vtec...now takin into effect that you didnt say if its an LS,GSR. or even ITR, but wither way it should be quiet enough until you jump on it...no rasp i promise...the apexi ovals(not sure all their names) are also KIND OF quiet not absolutly sure i just know what ive heard on youtube....as a matter of fact, go on youtube and search exhaust sounds....thats the best way to judge or get a ball park sound of where you would be at...thats just my opinion tho....

You will probably need a resonator to get rid of that raspy noise. My "stock" exhaust was raspy and I took it to a muffler shop and they said the problem was because I didnt have a resonator.

A glass pack is basicly like a resonator or silencer, right? It's a perforated tube with another tube around it and fiberglass around it. You can pick up a Cherry Bomb for $30.
