need assistance gauging the value of my 01'
as the title says, i need help gauging the value so i can set a selling price. selling due to a possible relocation to the west coast.
it is an 01 fairy yellow with 19,9xx original miles. i am the second owner, only putting 5k on it since purchase.
the only engine modifications on it are the basic i/h/e. exterior modifications include a jdm oem hid front end, fake mugen bumper, wings west side skirts and a ricey rear bumper.
the first owner was responsible for all the modifications because it was a show car. besides the usual maintenance, the only change i did to the car was swapping the tenzo r seats that came with the car to stock ep3 seats.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
located in chicago.
boo thieves.

Normally, the low mileage would help but in your case, it dosent help too much. Where is the USDM front? You would be wise to return everything to stock specs to maximize your sale potential.

I don't know that's crazy low miles, I think you may be able to get $14-15k just because of that if you could find the right buyer who either had the ability to turn it back stock or didn't mind the ricey ****.

But IMO... the low mileage selling fact goes hand in hand with OEM VIN matching.

Ya, good point.

Your best bet would be returning everything to stock first. Having cut up the front end with low mileage you are looking at it bringing around $16-17K IMO.
Returning it to stock is key, otherwise you are giving a potential buyer bargaining power. When selling, unless modified with extremely high end parts, stock always brings the most money.
Best of luck!

I concur.
VIN's matching is key for someone who wants to spend some money.

if stock i would see it in the 15k to 16,5k range but with the ricey bumper and kit maybe around 12,5k to 14k. my old bussiness partner just bought a stock one with 45k on it for 13k
Yep, the JDM front really hurts resale, and rightfully so. I'd say that takes about $2K off the price if it were USDM front.
I told folks back in the day that they'd regret that mod later on.

thanks for everyone's input. as for the badge #, the first owner lost the badge
but he did have the sticker price and everything else that came with when he bought it. as for pictues, ive been too busy too take any. there might be one from that chicago r meet.
