Help: Stripped thread tranny bolt
hey fellas i was working on my db8.. tranny had gone bad so i was replacing trans clutch axle's.. and did the norm.. i was missing a few bolts.. from previous owner....couldnt believe the work they had done..real ghetto....
but anyways: i was missing a top bolt on the tranny the one by the upper radiator hose.. i said no biggie.. ill replace.. when i went to reinstall the one right next to it im looking at it.. and i see the thread on it.. im like damn... so i go to put the bolt in the one that didn't have thread.. and what do you know stripped too....
but i did mange to close up and place tranny in.. now i was thinking of just coiling it.. but does any one have a trick up there sleeve or anything.. or what are the mesurement to the bolt. thanks in advance....
