Default ctr pistons

I was wondering if you guys could share your experience using CTR pistons in a b16a..if you dont mind posting your setups and also sharing what works best..thanks

I am running PCT's in my B16 and love them.

Quick rundown of setup
B16a2 head
B16a SIR1 Block
PCT(CTR) Pistons STD
Stock B16 Rods
Skunk 2 Stage 2 Cams
Skunk2 Valve Springs and Retainers
Cheap Header

170whp 114tq

ITR head w/ headgames valvejob
bc3's, rm valvetrain & valves
60mm tb, p30 manifold
3' intake w/ pr velocity stack and k&n filter
1st gen b16 block w/ os pct's
edelbrock header, shortened, w/ 2.5 collector mod
smsp 200 cell cat, 2.5 exhaust
tuned w/ BRE

Not what I would build knowing what I know now but, its a fun little motor. 12k so far and going strong.

You should be making more power with that setup.

Ok, since all dynos read the same what "should" I be making.

I could have easily put bigger cams in and made more peak power but why, and who cares. I sure don't.

i think it looks good for those cams. your power peaks early at 8,000 and torque carries nicley. thats a nice budget build,with the stock tb,intake,and budget header
