Default Will a 15" wheel clear the brakes on an Si?

Winter is coming and I need a set of winter wheels and tires. I found a set of 15" steel rims with tires that were used on an EX, will they bolt up to the Si and clear the brake calipers?

Thanks

Depends on the offsets and what not.

I had 15" wheels clearing NSX calipers, which are much larger than Civic SI calipers.

Why would you want wheels that small? It's designed to run on 17s.

What would be the reason for the 15" not fitting, offset and caliper spacing or overall diameter forcing to move to a 16". This would be for Road race application so the offset can be increased to accomidate for the caliper. Has anyone measured?

I went and looked at the 15" wheels and winter tires that were for sale, I tried to mount one of the wheels to the front of my Si in his driveway. Just like the others said, the 15" wheel would not fit, it was close but the wheel hit the brake caliper.

Which way was it hitting, because of offset (if the rim stuck out more it would fit), or was it the caliper is too large and wont physically fit overtop of the caliper?

Pretty sure it was the offset. I went to put the rim on and and the studs started to come thru the wheel as I pushed it on, then it hit the caliper and kept the wheel from going on flush. I didn't spend much time looking to see how exactly it was not going on all the way, it just hit the caliper, but I'm pretty sure the caliper was also hitting the wheel in a way that it would rub on it if you were to spin the wheel. So I'm pretty sure it was a combination of both.

Depending on the offset/wheel design it can fit.

Still have those photos? I would imagine rather significant spacers would be needed to fit 15" ITR wheels on an FG2. And I still can't help but think that overall diameter of the rotor and caliper setup would prohibit the use of 15" wheels. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
