Will a Type R exhuast Fit on an Eg hatch

i know that itr stock exhuast or bigger than eg but i seen itr exhuasts on hatches before and would like to know how to get it done because my exhuast is to loud and i want somthing quiet.

The B pipe fits perfectly, the muffler section does not (too long).

I bought a type r muffler and had my local exhaust shop run the same size of piping as the muffler and had it welded on sound awesome at high rpms and like stock driving around town and i got a eg
