Hello fellow SOHC ppl. I was thinking about putting in an AEM tru-timing cam gear in my ride. Has anyone done this? how are the improvements? I know its probably not worth it but i can't afford a K20 swap or another ride at the moment since im in college. but any HP gains will be good since my friend has the same ride n id like to blow him away with my upgrades. but my question is, could I adjust this cam to put out my horses with stock compression? and lastly, will this cam make my engine check light come on. thanx for any feedback =D

You're looking at negligable results from a cam gear. Even with a nicer cam along with the gear, you're looking at maybe 5 - 10whp.
