Default Race header Question for RSX

If i get a DCRH, DO i need to get ES "motor mounts"? or ES motor mount inserts????

another question is would it bolt up to stock rsx-s exhaust??

So parts needed installing header is:

o2 extention
defouler
ES motor mount inserts

thats bout it right???

You will need mounts or inserts either ESMM's, innovative, etc... If you buy a RH it should come with the needed O2 extension wire, but you will need to get the mounts/ defouler. Also, it should bolt up to your stock exhaust fine.

you will definitely need some kind of mount/esmm/torque damper. When I installed my dcrh, I ran it for a couple days without one and it would bang against the sway bar going in reverse and every hard shift.

You'll need 1 o2 sensor extension so you don't stretch out your wires and mess them up. And it'll bolt up fine with your stock exhaust.

Did you not get the extension with your RH my RH came with the O2 extension. JW

How hard are the esmm to install. i have this same question. i figured i would but a ssr or hytech header and just install the inserts

I heard esmm is harder to install esp at the subframe. The motormount job isn't that bad cuz all you have to do is swap it. Do a search on clubrsx. You will find instructions on how to install both and better info about them than around here
