Default high flow catalytic convetor on da9

i dont have enough money for a full catback exhaust so i was thinking about getting a high flow catalytic convertor right now i have DC headers and some random exhaust the piping looks clean its my first car had it for about 3 months

wondering if it would improve anything besides the air flow?

It helps quite a bit believe it or not. BTW, don't pay more for a cat just because its "high flow" because like 90% of the brick aftermarket cats come from the same company.

Not only that. The price you pay for cat coverters now a day, you'll just better off getting a full catback exhuast. Magnaflow charges over 200 dollars now, because they have platinum in the products. And now people are buying catcoverters for that platinum resulting in 300% increase in price.

Look into a ktller exhaust, it is cheap and very effective, plus it is a true 2.5" inner diameter. A magnaflow high flow cat approved for ca emmissions is pretty expensive though
