1992 Accord EX auto, I just bought it from a guy cheap and all of a sudden when I turned on the car the D4 light started constantly blinking and seemed to be stuck in 3rd or 4th gear. I turned it on again a little bit later and the SRS light was also on and it keeps reving up to around 3000 rpm. At first I thought it could be the solenoid but now i dont know. Any help would be much appreciated. Just hoping I dont have to replace the whole tranny.

 

I am having the same problem and discovered it's probably not the actual tranny but the shifting selinods or TCU. Take it too your mechanic and have him check the tranny codes, they will tell the answers.
