Default Wanting to swap a D15Z1 in 91' STD hatch

But for some reason I can't pm people in the marketplace part of the forum, maybe I need more experience or posts or something (i know I should have read the rules better). Anyhow, I want to start by swapping out my busted 4 speed trans for a 5 speed version, preferebly the hf model. Is there any difference in linkage? or clutches (I need a new one, how are the ebay ones? some are 'namebrand')

I learned from reading the base model axles are different but if I keep my current hubs and axles I can switch to any cable d series trans. But could I swap over the trans directly to my d15b1 from a DA Integra LS? if I also get the front suspension? Thats the only trans I could find at my local junkyard, haven't searched them all though. I'm hoping to get around 50 mpg as well as a jump in power, it'll be great for my job (delivery driver for Jimmy John's).

If you are converting a 4 speed ef to a 5 speed trans you have to change your hubs or steering knuckle Its just a good excuse to convert you front brakes to the larger DA set up 5 speed trans and bigger brakes
