lol @ my car. New problem, sorta...
lol, every time I drive my car something goes wrong. But it's never left me stranded. It's left me embarrassed at stop lights and parking lots. But never stranded.
K so today when I was getting ready to leave school. I start up the car and it goes to warm up at goes to about 1650rpm, you know. The usual.
Except the RPM's aren't dropping at all. (it should have dropped pretty quickly. Hot day and the engine wasn't entirely cold)
So I hit the gas pedal to see if the revs will go down...nadda.
So I sit there just assuming the engine was colder than I thought.
And the car dies. Gracefully. No chugs or anything. Just pussies out.
So I re-prime the fuel system and start it up and its chugging at 400rpm trying to stay alive...like its flooded as hell. So I have to baby it keeping it at 2000 rpm for about 10 seconds. Then I revved it to about 6500.
And that sun-of-a-***** ran great. All the way home. Even the clutch didn't slip today. And it's been slipping for about 2 weeks.
It's still showing CEL 4. CKP sensor. But this is totally different to what was happening before when I got a CEL 4. I have a fuel pump killswitch. And if I kill the car with it I get CEL 4. I don't think it's throwing the right codes.
Oh well, gonna run the **** out of the car so I can get a new one.
