how would stock struts do if i put 2 inch lowering springs on my civ coupe? would they blow out pretty quick? or could they handle a 2 inch drop?

buddy of mine did a 2.25 drop on stock stocks bad idea it was such a stiff ride we were waiting for when it blew threw his fender i wouldnt do it on stock struts i got tokico blues which handle a 2 and a 1.8 drop beautifully

 

do it right save your money and do shocks and springs that way you wont have to worrie about it

 

they will blow. your ride will suck. just save up and do it right. why do people ask this all the time.

 

haha. funny i threw coilovers on my stock struts. rides a little stiff but all good if u want a nice little drop. you will survive iv had em on my 93 for a year now. but beleive what you want. cash is king after all

 

im on a h&r 2.5 drop all the way around no problems what so ever.
