So i put some 98 tails on my car a while back and i changed my bulbs and everything brand new but for some reason when i press on the brakes the tail light brakes are BARELY visible. i'm not sure what the problem could be? ive checked the wiring and these bulbs are only a month old i don't see why the bulbs would be the problem.

i know you said you checked the wiring. but ever since working in a shop for the last 4 years that is the only problem i have seen cause that. so go over all of your ground wires. check for loose connections, broken wires, grounds bolted onto paint and not clean metal. good luck

 

get some led bulbs. super brighter.

 

check the sockets for anything wrong. I know this is acura, in which I do own a Integra. The socket on my crx was the cause for a dim Right side brake light.
