Default Refinishing CF Hood

I just picked up this hatch a bit ago and the cf hood was very oxidized and was getting worse quickly. Someone had tried to reclear it before failing miserably and leaving orange peel and fish eye galore. I decided to sand it down and get it cleared. Should be getting the clear on this week, I'll post updates then.

When I first got it

Then it got really bad with the summer heat beating on it, but no pictures of that. Here it is with way more hours than I wanted to spend on it....

And here it is wet

And my neglected truck in the front yard with Tucker in the back, ha

It hasn't been cleared yet. It should be getting cleared within the next few days. In the picture it is just the hood wet.

How much are you being charged to have this done? I've wet sanded and polished my VIS a bunch of times but Im getting worried how much more clear there is to remove before I get down to the fiber

I have a friend thats a painter so he spraying it for free. Not really sure how much someone would charge to clear a hood.

I built the truck a long time ago and it sat in the woods/bushes for almost 2 years. Put in some gas and fired right up, ha. Good old Toyota's. I'll upload some pics to photobucket in a bit when my gf leaves.

Sorry for the delayed update. Yes the hood is resprayed, looks amazing. I am going to be cutting and buffing it very shortly. If the weather is somewhat nice tomorrow I will snap a few pics. Very happy with how it turned out.
