So it all started when my friend and I took a wrong turn. I had a feeling to go through with it for some reason and take another route. It was 4:30, our towns rush hour which, apparently isn't a good time at all to cruise and get milkshakes

We were at a stop light a left turn on arrow lane. I was looking to the right when my friend Alex aka spikey640 was looking to my left, i saw his eyes widen and his jaw drop about to say something. WHAM! strait to ridicoulous Hyundai Sonata, all i saw was a big silver blur fly by my window and my leg slam into the door. All the poor teggy did was put a hole in the Korean bumper and tear out a fog light.

She came around the turn too wide and basicly used the integra as a gard rail, she didn't slow down or brake, me and Alex think she powered through that bitch. I'll give her a for tearing **** up, strait up brootal.

I got out to see my jdm 1 piece headlight was smashed, my fender was totaled, bent steering knuckle, popped tire, and a huge scrape down the side. The car didn't have a good body in the first place, peeling clear coat and crazy rust.

It turns out that the girl that hit me has had her <U>driving permit</U> for a matter of minutes. She was with her mom. No one was hurt, and state farm didn't get back to me for a matter of weeks She was crying and is a sophmore at my highschool. It's been a big inconvenience but its coming out cheaper and well worth the wait.

I got lucky a good number of times, state farm gave me the price of the car and the title was saved. [i dont think im gonna sell it until it goes up in flames]

Some plans were to shave all emblems, color match side moldings, keep rio red [mad tight, i know] for engine bay, door jam and shell interior color reasons.

Posting up cause I had something similar happen to my car, even had to deal with the same insurance company (state farm). It's even the same color (although it's a CRX).

I swear I'll be buried in my car even though they gave it a rebuilt title.

because S Techs have like a 4k spring rate lol

theyre super soft, i rode with him alot when he had them, it was like being on a boat hitting waves lol

 

how low can you go on the TYPE 1s? i need some new coilovers for my DA.

im almost maxed out on the fronts for the type 1's, thiers still a quarter of an inch of threds to go lower but right now im running into fender problems and rubbing after large bumps when i have a passenger. Maby if you had a different tire size or camber kit things might work differently. I have 195-55-15 on my sportmax's. The fenders are already rolled so... still working out the problem there.

Its pretty hard to raise the car with jacks, im going to be making low slope ramps out of some wood. I had to drive on some 2x4s and use a napa low height jack to raise the front. the rear i have to lift it behinde the tow hook.

mean while i love the ride of the coilovers they are 10k front 6k rear , the lip makes it really low but i havent came into any problems. My town is going under heavy construction, our roads have tons of holes due to heavy snow every year, and its holding up.

Im happy with everything, next im going to get another bumper for a beater, and instal my side skirts
