Default Manual Transmition oil change 94 accord!!!!

I know I need two quarts and I hurd about senchromesh. How about the royal purple transmition oil "senchromax" and also the gear oil. can I use gear oil when changing the oil in the trany?

can I get some feedback on royal purple synchromax or gear oil for my trany.

1) synchromesh

2) If you searched you'd see that unless you are having massive grinding in the transmission Honda MTF is more than fine.

The service manual says to use 10w-30 or 10w-40, that's what I've done and never had any problems.

Depends on the year actually, the earlier models say to use that, the later ones say to use MTF.

It certainly does not harm the transmission to use MTF so long as you do the drain and refill.

The honda MTF will usually yield better results and "shift smoother" than regular oil and especially gear oil (to heavy)... The syncromesh is the only other oil I have heard works well, but whether its better than the MTF is debatable...

Drain with the tranny warm (just driven) to drain as much wear particles out as possible...

I dont have grinds but I am not liking my shifts I dont have problems with grinds maghbe first when I am rolling or something of that sort. I hurd that royal purple is really really good but I dont know I bought the synchromax from royal purple, now thinking that I will regret it but I will give it a shoot I guess.
