That curve is common with the RSX-S . When people dynoed thier RSX's there was a huge dip in between 5ooo-56oo rpm before spiking up. I hope hondata fixes this problem. I want more POWER!!! hehe

The car is only running 3 pounds of boots using a t3 turbo. The plan is to push 6 pounds of boost in the near future.

 

cool, further proof on the potential of the new engines.

 

i have a hard time believing they got 70+hp out of 3lbs of boost..

What happened the torque and horsepower curves crossing at 5252rpm? Since horsepower is a function of torque, they should.


Horsepower = (TorquexRPM)/5252

The graph wasn't justified...hence you have HP that goes to mid 200's and TQ that goes to 195...if you re-printed the graph with them justified you would have the 2 plots crossing at 5250.


My problem with this graph is the huge drop at 4800rpm, I don't like torque curves that go up and down that jaggedly...also as you can see the graph flattens out up top, this means that your exhaust is way to restrictive, you need to install a freer flowing exhaust and you should be able to get another 10+whp according to the curve of the graph.

Heheh, because a while back me and fusionITR were fighting. He was complaining about the Type S and I was defending it to the end. So the mods kicked both our percents down. But since then he has not come back in no more. And I been good now.heheheh <-- evil laugh..
