Default Rsx Header

Hey guys i'm picking up a Rsx-s 2006 this friday. I have been doing my research on minor upgrades such as bolt ons. I have already picked up an im, throttle body and intake. I wanted to get a good header that puts down some serious power. I have seen the R-Crew Header and how much power it can make. But unfortunately I understand that this is only applicable for either a 94-01 dc2 integra or a civic. Just wondering if anyone has a good header that is making good power on a dc5 body.

Thanks alot guys

It depends how much you wanna spend the Buddy club header is great, DC header is a little more affordable but also pretty decent. If you get a race header you definitely need to get some ESMM's or innovative mounts and if you can afford it Kpro.

seems like you got some cash to toss around have you looked at the toda header?
do you want to stay all motor or do you plan to go boost later?

I have a ceramic DCRH and have had zero problems at all. I've probably installed/uninstalled it nearly 10 times. Had it w/o esmm, a torque dampener or upgraded mounts for ~8 months. Just removed it 2 days ago and it is still in great condition (rusting like ceramic does but no cracking).

Very likely the mounts are the problem. I thought I heard actually more problems with fitment and sway bar hitting with the Buddy Club than DC

I have narrowed it down to 2 headers. Either the SSR Header or the Hytech Header. Both make amazing power. Now the question is do i need to install energy suspension motor mounts or inserts?

get the full motor mounts from innovative. They're much better than the inserts.

yeah but no need to take out the motor if thats what you meant about "motor swap" just use a jack to hold the motor and swap the mounts.. check this out. http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=549754

yeah everything vibrates.. its whats gonna happen when you stiffen up your motor mounts so theres no avoiding it.. however the vibrations dont bother me at all. From what i hear the inovative mm vibrations arent as bad as having the inserts. As for my headers, well i just barely got it so yeah.. oviously no problems haha.

Im wonderin about the ingalls td. probably better off grabbin the inovative mm though. The last thing i want to do is pick up my dc5 and have it vibrate like my dc2 did with hasports. I dont think it will be as bad though.

nah trust me your better off with the motor mounts than anything. Since you say your getting kpro you can always raise the idol of your car that way you won't feel the vibrations

I run the bcrh and I would highly recommend it. Sounds great, and got a nice power gain. Also, I installed the ingalls torque dampener and it seems to be a pretty good product. The vibration from stock is noticeable, but it is pretty minor. Shifting is smoother, and wheel hop from first to second is virtually eliminated. I actually bought the esmm's but have not installed them yet. Was thinking about doing so but you guys got me a little shook saying that it causes alot of vibration. One problem I am having though, is that I did not buy a sway bar with the bigger opening for an after market header, so I was changing the oil last night and noticed that the springs on my header are gone, and my stock front sway is slightly shifted towards the passenger side.
