HKS SS BOV c-clip help?!

Default HKS SS BOV c-clip help?!

Is there any special tool that will make the install of the c-clip easier? Any tricks or shortcuts? I already had it fly across the garage and almost take out one of my mothers cats when it let loose of the vice grips I had it in... haha

LOL

Easiest way I found was to remove the metal housing of the BOV, gives you more room to work with. Good luck.

Don't they make special pliers that fit into those two small holes on the clip?

What you need is a pair of snap ring pliers. You can pick one up at your local sears for about 11 bucks. Get's the job done much easier. Here's a link since i was bored :

life will be 10x easier w/ that tool. if you dont have a sears near you i know western auto sells them also.
