4-2-1 will have the best clearance

a 4-2-1 header will give you more torque at the bottom. but a 4-1 header will give you a larger hp gain at the top end. I have a meagan 4-1, no ground clearance problems, and really impressed with the gains. make sure you get a high flow cat or a test pipe tho. Also, someone in hear stated you need a tune, you don't, just reset your ecu.

you know buying a header changes how much air your motor is able to flow correct? When you do that it changes how much fuel and timing there needs to be. Maybe adding a header isnt much. But i know i street bikes just adding Canisters not even full exhausts Can completely freak a bikes A/F ratio.

The OEM ECU's dont just adapt when you change settings. Wherever you heard that is garbage. If you get a 4-1 you should get a tune. If you ever go by the more advanced forums like the All Motor And Forced Induction forums. You will see that alot of the guys get tunes when they change there cat-back exhaust set-up. Or even there intake filter brand. To Each His Own

WOW

that sounds a little extreme but i guess if you want your car running at optimum performance it does make sense

but like you said
